Victor Printing, Inc. was created when William Victor Richards started a small printing business in the basement of his parents’ home in 1919. Because of our strong personal and professional commitment to out customers, our family owned firm has grown from a one man operation to a company that is over 100 employees strong. Here is our history. |
1919

1970’s
Current owners, William G. and Terence, joined the family business in the late 70’s. Soon after Victor Printing purchased it's first Web Press to produce business forms. This is when Victor made the decision to become a trade only printer.

An additional location was purchased to house Victor’s growing commercial printing division, now known as Victor West. |
1980’s
The first of five total expansions took place. Throughout the 80’s business continued to prosper; equipment purchases and more additions to the main building were made.
|
1994

1998
The addition of a warehouse at the Victor West location brought much needed storage and fulfillment capabilities. |
2000

2005
As digital printing progresses and technologies improve, Victor trades in their UltraStream 2000 for a 6 Color HP Indigo press 3050. They also invest in a new Apple Xserve RAID data storage system for more reliable backup of customer files.
Enhancements to Victor's direct mail services include the installation of a 6-station Mailcrafters Edge Series 9800 inserting system. This inserting system allows Victor to offer all the mailing services necessary for fulfillment including CASS, barcode and sorting.
2007
The year 2007 brings one of the most exciting additions to Victor Printing's equipment line. The Komori LS 29 lithographic press! With six print units and an in-line aqueous coater, the LS 29 is the future. Among the most exciting advantages to this press is its completely automatic set up which cuts make-ready in half. This press also opens the door for online ordering and faster shipping. |
2006
Victor recognizes the need to offer pocket folder conversion and as a result installs a Moll Marathon Folder/Gluer. This addition enables Victor to maintain control over cost, quality, and delivery of presentation folders and more.
To maintain an upward growth pattern, Victor replaces their aging monochromatic digital printer with a new Kodak Digimaster 9110m. With a configuration that includes MICR toner technology, the Digimaster opens new market opportunities and offers a greater range of opportunities.
Victor is also busy expanding its large format capabilities with the purchase of a flat bed DisplayMaker 72uvx printer. This flat bed printer has the ability to print on media up to 1/" thick and that's not al… It's an affordable, flexible 72" wide UV printer that produces high quality, high-speed output directly onto uncoated materials like rigid display boards as well as roll-fed media. It also utilizes UV-curable ink technology, which means signage will typically last up to 2-3 years in adverse weather conditions.
